About Affirmations
Affirmations are short, positive, present tense, phrases intended to replace old outdated or negative thought patterns with new positive energy. It is now widely known that our thoughts and feelings create our reality. Repeating an affirmation regularly either out loud or to yourself promotes a positive process of change. Writing an affirmation a number of times can also help to imprint it strongly within your conscious mind. Once you begin to feel the truth of an affirmation you can be sure that it has begun to take root and the results can only be positive and transformative both to you and within your life.
The affirmation that has chosen you today is:
'I know the difference between my thoughts and another's'
or
'I am the only thinker in my mind'
Sometimes we feel overwhelmed and confused and can't seem to quiet our mind enough to hear that still small voice of truth within that guides us. This happens mostly when we have become too focused on the voices and opinions of others, or when we are trying to please (or prove something) at the expence of our own truth (and thereby happiness).
These affirmations dissolve the tendency to live your life from the outside looking in and help you to pull fully and firmly back into yourself. To look at life anew with a fresh and clear perspective and to believe in your own truth enough that you have no desire to replace it with the truth or expectations of another.
Only when you can be still with yourself and follow your own instincts will you find lasting peace and happiness. These affirmations will set you firmly on your way.
With warmest wishes for success.
